Nine fictions and documentaries presented this year
In total, nine feature films chosen by 13 filmmakers from several hundred will be showcased — six first feature films. These works feature a variety of styles and themes that illustrate “both the alarming madness of our time and our infinite capacity to cope.” This lineup aims to be engaging, representing “gestures that bring us together, stories rooted in a poetic reality that is joyful, unexpected but above all free, and unformatted [...], powerful and resistant gestures — and hope,” asserts ACID.
.
Since 1993, ACID has showcased films from all around the world to highlight independent cinema, introducing breathtaking works to the general public, and also finding distributors so these films can be shown in French cinemas.
