Who said the Cannes Festival was over? From September 17-20, 2026, ACID Rereleases are coming to theaters. The concept is straightforward: several feature films presented by this parallel section of the famous festival last May are screened in advance premiere for a week in Paris, Marseille and Lyon. In Paris, the event takes place at the Louxor where you can watch nine feature films — French and international fiction and documentaries.
Particularly varied programming
The festivities kick off Thursday, September 17, 2026 with the screening of Blaise by Dimitri Planchon and Jean-Paul Guigue, introducing us to the Sauvage family, ready to do anything to be loved. We continue Friday, September 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., with Promised Spaces by Ivan Marković, which takes us to the co
escape from a ghost town in Cambodia, where the stories of those who live there intertwine: workers, housekeepers, and gardeners. You'll also discover at 8:45 p.m., Bad Star, by Lola Cambourieu and Yann Berlier, a film that confronts us with the mechanisms of control within a couple.

The next day, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:45 PM, the film festival festivities continue with In the Ogre's Jaws by Mahsa Karampour, which takes us on a road trip across the United States alongside an Iranian brother and sister. At 6:15 PM, Barça Zou by Paul Nouhet whisks us away into a story about skateboarding, youth, and friendship. Turns, by Céline Carridroit and Aline Suter, will hit the big screen at 8:45 PM, introducing us to Johanna, a mechanical enthusiast who decides to breathe new life into her Beetle to make peace with a world she loves so much.
Three feature films to wrap up the ACID Reprises
And when you think it's over, there's more! The dark comedyby Karim Lakzadeh, Living Twice, Dying Thrice will air on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 3:30 PM and will immerse us in an atmosphere of family tensions as three minors who survive a mine collapse decide to pretend to be dead so their families can benefit from compensation. At 5:45 PM, Secret Heart by Tom Fontenille will explore grief and gender identity within a family itself. Finally, at 8:15 PM, Detention by Guillaume Massart will close out the festivities. The latter opens the doors to the prison system and examines the officers who work there.
