We're having dinner with live music at District
To stretch out summer just a little bit longer, it's happening at the Port Terraces. Until October 4th, this spot welcomes us within its District space, to treat ourselves with over 13 restaurants to choose from. The wide selection of pasta, burgers, and pizzas will satisfy everyone. What's on the agenda? Every Friday from 7pm to midnight, we're treating ourselves to a weekend filled with afro-Cuban sounds and free salsa lessons, where we learn, dance, enjoy a great dinner with music, and share festive moments together. And because the Port Terraces' party never really ends, we're also meeting up every Saturday until 10pm for an exceptional "after shopping" experience, with DJ sets and live singing, to extend our shopping adventure in a festive atmosphere of music, dancing, and food.

We dance with La Smala de Marseille
As part of the Mediterranean Season, La Smala de Marseille takes over Friche Belle de Mai for two days of dance, music and interwoven stories. A project initiated by the Accrorap company, born from meetings and choreographic workshops with artists from around the Mediterranean, from Morocco to Tunisia, passing through Greece, Egypt and Algeria. On the program? A discussion around the theme "Building Community in the Mediterranean"uo;, projections, solo performances and a highlight on Saturday with a choreographed performance by Kader Attou, followed by a Mediterranean dance.

We're treating ourselves to a trip to Chile with El Santo Cachon
This Friday, Chile comes to Marseille with the great Santo Cachon celebration, just steps away from La Pleine. Here, we're celebrating Chilean national pride in an atmosphere that warms the heart, with cumbia, salsa, and merengue concerts, plus delicious dishes to share like empanadas and pisco sours. This Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, Marseille transforms into one big playground for the European Heritage Days. And just like every year, you'll be able to (re)discover the must-see monuments that have made our city famous, from the MuCEM to the Palais du Pharo. Throughout all the neighborhoods, unique and unusual places that are often closed to the public the rest of the year will open their doors for two days, so you can finally get to know Marseille like the back of your hand.

We take a humorous look at the state of the world at the Chartreux Theatre
This Saturday at the Chartreux Theatre, the Roulotte theatre company presents I Couldn't Care Less, I'll Be Dead Before the End of the World, a delightfully wild one-woman musical show. On stage, Cathy Casy delivers fiery mic rants, guitar riffs, and questionable humor. The slightly cool, devil-may-care aunt who bounces between post-apocalyptic philosophy and raw songs to paint a portrait of our times.

Celebrating Marseille's contemporary art at the Palais Longchamp
As part of the European Heritage Days, the mayors of the 4th and 5th districts, along with the Château de Servières, invite you to the Palais Longchamp for the 6th edition of the Marcel Longchamp Festival. What's on the menu? Installations and performances that bring together the city's historic heritage with its contemporary Marseille creation. And after themes like "it whispers" and "it sways," the festival continues its journey with its brand new theme "it sails," featuring stories inspired by the water that flows from the Palais Longchamp toward Marseille.

We treat ourselves to a coffee-culture break at KRM
Between Noailles and the Old Port, Karim Naar has created his little corner of culture and sweetness. With KRM, the founder blends his roots and his love for Marseille to create a solidarity space somewhere between a neighborhood café and an art gallery. On the menu? Specialties with North African flavors, including rose water espresso Tunis-style, tahni latte, orange blossom matcha, gazelle horns, honey cakes, stuffed dates… And on the walls? Works by creators and artists, mainly from North Africa or Marseille, with 10% of the revenue from sales going tosales are donated to charities.
