Saturday. A Parisian apartment. Nighttime. Him: "What are we doing tonight? Restaurant or cinema? I don't have much money right now." Her, a devoted reader of Le Bonbon: "Don't worry, no need to choose, tonight we'll do both!" It might sound like a dialogue from a commercial for cheap laundry detergent and yet! In Paris, we don't lack hybrid places, so tonight it's a restaurant-cinema-bar for everyone.

The Studio 28

The Studio 28 gets its name from the day of its inauguration in 1928. It is now, as it was originally, a unique place dedicated to the world of cinema, seeking original works and serving as a meeting place for artists. Every Tuesday, they project a premiere! But what also interests us is its small terrace and restaurant area where film buffs can enjoy savory and sweet tarts and indulge themselves after a film screening.

The history
The Louxor bar

The Louxor is undoubtedly linked to the history of Paris. Built in 1921, it was the temple of silent cinema and then left abandoned for several years at the end of the Second World War. After a few years as nightclubs, it closes its doors again until 2013 where the Association of Friends of Louxor manages to fully restore it. Today it remains a symbol of nightlife and hosts cinematographic and cultural projects in a hedonistic spirit. What we love is its bar and terrace from which you can admire the Sacré Cœur while sipping a cocktail and enjoying refined cuisine. Access is reserved for movie ticket holders!

The Warehouse

The Place is a true cultural hybrid, far from the artist's "squats" that its name might suggest. You can find an exhibition hall, a concert hall, three cinemas, a restaurant-bar, and a garden! Once again, you can mix everything up here: bar, cinema, exhibition, while enjoying a meal from Monday to Sunday, in the company of alternative filmmakers... or not! A little bonus for parents: Wednesdays and Saturdays are reserved for screenings for children!

Mk2 quais de Seine

The Mk2 is an institution in the City of Light. Everyone goes there: blockbuster enthusiasts, independent film lovers, and foodies who enjoy the dining areas of this essential cinema. There's first the Café bibliothèque, a cozy space for intellectual foodies. The LG W and Mk2 café for a little coffee before the show. But the one that caught our attention is the K! Its counterpart on the quai de Loire, the M Café, also offers quality dining, albeit a bit expensive.

The Classic
The Panthéon Lounge

To great men, a grateful nation... and movie lovers too! The Pantheon Lounge is the sacred place of cinema! On the first floor of the cinema, an atypical scene unfolds. The protagonists: actors, directors, and anonymous individuals gather in the room decorated by Catherine Deneuve and Christian Sapet. They chat while dining. The menu includes daily soups, salads, and homemade desserts! Some indulge in a writer's tea, pinkie in the air, thinking about a future adaptation.

The Reels
No need to choose between the classic trio of cinema, bar, and restaurant. This movie cafe restaurant bar is a little bit of everything at the same time, and that's why we love it! Tapas from here and there, and seasonal dishes will be on the menu. After dinner, head to the cinema room. A real room with comfortable seats and recent, old, and animated films. In short, everyone will find something they like, especially while sipping a glass of wine or champagne nestled in the velvety seats. A must-visit: a sunny terrace for the beautiful days!
