The Editor

Every year, on the last Thursday of November, our friends from across the Atlantic spend the day in the kitchen enjoying a delicious family meal. But you don't have to be American to celebrate Thanksgiving! Here's proof with these 5 Parisian restaurants where you can enjoy a good old fashioned made in USA meal.

Umami Burger and its all-you-can-eat buffet

For this purely American celebration, the restaurant at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse hotel invites us to a huge feast. The restaurant that puts the fifth flavor, umami, at the heart of its recipes has concocted a special menu for the occasion. On the menu: creamy pumpkin soup with chestnut crumbs, the famous roasted stuffed turkey served with green beans, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, maple syrup glazed carrots... Everything you need to stay in the autumn theme, not to mention the pumpkin pie and its delicious whipped cream. Don't forget to wear your widest pants from your wardrobe!

Cali Sisters and its very special brunch

Cali Sisters is the ultimate Californian address in Paris. Opened by two sisters, it takes us to the west coast in a bohemian atmosphere, just a stone's throw away from Place de la Bourse. For Thanksgiving, the two sisters have prepared a wonderful feast: crispy sweet potato balls, butternut squash cream, mushroom-stuffed turkey, classic mac & cheese with butternut squash, and for a sweet touch, a moist pumpkin cake with sesame black whipped cream and crumble.

ChoCho and his USA menu by Thomas Chisholm

Revealed to the public eye during season 12 of Top Chef, Thomas Chisholm opened his restaurant in the heart of the capital at the end of November 2021 to our greatest delight. Since then, he has been tantalizing our taste buds throughout the year, and for the traditional Thanksgiving, he is preparing a prestigious six-course menu: crab and corn tartlet, maple-glazed squash gnocchi, black truffle mac & cheese, roasted turkey with peanuts... It's going to be delicious!

Mama Shelter La Defense and its 50s dinner

Mama Shelter breaks tradition and will not celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday but on Friday, November 24th. However, the evening will be magnificent and will take us into the heart of a 50s American dinner. The program includes an XXL and authentic buffet for young and old, a live concert, board games to play with the family, screens that show American football, baseball games, or even the famous Thanksgiving parade in New York... You will truly feel like you're in a restaurant deep in the streets of Brooklyn, far from Paris!

Ellsworth and his French twist on Thanksgiving dinner

Ellsworth, a Franco-American neo-bistro on Rue Richelieu led by Braden Perkins and Laura Adrian, gives a French twist to the traditional Thanksgiving meal. They use seasonal ingredients and, of course, feature a good farm-raised turkey. As an extra bonus, the restaurant offers an optional food-wine pairing menu for a delicious French touch that we love.
