We're joining a solidarity dinner for Gaza at La Bellevilloise

To kick off this sunny week, La Bellevilloise invites us to their cozy Halle aux Oliviers for a solidarity dinner in the colors of Palestine. With “At the Table of Gaza,” this 20th arrondissement venue aims to give us an experience of sharing, blending committed cuisine, artistic creation, and living memory, all in support of CNASaR (National Committee for the Reception and Support of Gaza Survivors). Powered by the associations and collectives La Palestine Nous Rassemble, Artists Against Apartheid, and Sa7ten, this evening will feature a five-course menu celebrating Palestinian cuisine – crafted by professional chefs – as well as a multidisciplinary program including a photo exhibit by Ali Asfour, storytelling sessions, musical interludes, and most importantly, resistance.

Celebrating the oceans with Camille Étienne's performative walks at the Musée d'Orsay

On the occasion of the Year of the Sea 2025, the Musée d'Orsay has invited environmental activist Camille Étienne for two exceptional evening events, designed as a stroll interspersed with performances in the heart of the Impressionist gallery. Surrounded by committed artists, the activist offers Parisians a walk and a journey that is both sensitive and poetic through the masterpieces of the museum, blending dance, theater, music, and more.littérature. Whether it's Blandine Rinkel during a musical reading of an excerpt from La Faille (Stock, 2025), Camélia Jordana singing in support of SOS Méditerranée, or the dancers of the Opéra national de Paris performing an excerpt from L’esprit du bleu by choreographer Carolyn Carlson, all of them celebrate the beauty, fragility, and strength of the oceans in their own unique ways.

Immerse yourself in the blur like Monet at the Orangerie Museum

In Monet's paintings, the blur, long seen as just a detail, actually plays a vital role. Through its new exhibition, the Orangerie Museum is bringing this unique aspect back to the forefront by exploring the significance of this aesthetic choice in art from 1945 to the present day. It’s a fascinating thematic journey that questions the creative processes and offers a fresh perspective on well-known artworks. Elusive by nature, the blur becomes a political statement this time, a genuine means of expression, and a real challenge in the world of art.
