The Editor

From the street, you would never guess what lies behind this quaint little blue storefront. But step inside and you'll be instantly captivated by the stone walls, sturdy wooden tables, and charmingly mismatched napkin rings that make you feel right at home. The sleek yet cozy atmosphere transports you to the unique world of Parisian bistros. And don't forget the cellar downstairs, where you can escape the heat and admire the impressive collection of wine bottles. This sets the scene for a meal filled with delightful surprises at every turn.

Plates of High Flying

To start off beautifully, we sit down in front of a plate of dried duck breast with Espelette chili, superb leeks with vinaigrette reimagined with a lemon cream and vinegar pearls, or a delicious salmon cromesqui with a highly appetizing appearance. Elaborate, delicate dishes presented on gorgeous plates that look like they were picked up at the local flea market. Comforting dishes, lovely presentations, giving us the feeling of being back in our grandparents' dining room, with a touch of modernity. Next up is an incredible roasted cockerel, the house's signature dish, or vegetarian lasagna that melts in your mouth, leaving a lasting impression. No exceptional tomato sauce yet. To finish the meal beautifully, it's impossible to pass up on the French toast, as fluffy as a cloud, and its homemade salted butter caramel, even the Bretons will have to approve. Welcome to our Happy Blog!

Get your pens ready!

And if you thought the festivities ended there, think again! After your meal, you will be brought writing paper, envelopes, and pens, to engage in a surprising game. Write a letter that will be sent to you… One year later! Whether it's to include a good joke, describe this amazing evening, or give a little update on life, let inspiration guide you, before slipping your envelope into a special mailbox. And why not do all of this while enjoying the delicious homemade vanilla rum, served (according to our estimates), in a Mathusalem, which is a 6 L bottle! In short, the Bistro des Lettres is a success, from A to Z!
