To discover the fascinating story of L’Agrumiste, we invite you to travel through space and time to Fez in 2013, when Laurent Boughaba decided to reconnect with his roots as a fruit grower. He embarked on a journey to buy a small piece of land but, fueled by his love for citrus fruits, he decided to plant an enormous orchard of 100 hectares. There, he cultivates over 250 varieties of fruits using organic methods, all picked at peak ripeness and packaged right on-site. In less than a week, these extraordinary clementines, lemons, and other unique pomelos end up in the kitchens of the finest chefs and artisans in Paris, and especially in the boutique of the 7e, much to our delight.

The Kingdom of Citrus Fruits

No sooner do you step through the door than there’s no doubt about it, here, we’ll be talking about citrus fruits, citrus fruits, and more citrus fruits!

especially citrus fruits. On the counter, bowls are overflowing, filled with fruits of amazing yellow, orange, and green colors. While some can be recognized at first glance, like the clementines or lemons, others catch the eye a bit more. This is the case with the "tangelolo", a unique creation of the house, resulting from the fusion of clementine and pomelo. A pocket-sized pomelo, yellow with delicately pink flesh, whose subtle taste surprised us, imagined thanks to the innovation and research department of the house, which constantly strives to create original and unique new varieties. We also linger in front of the "dekotchin", the "yuzu lemon", the "sudachi lemon", the "black caviar lemon", and the "buddha's hand", names that intrigue. Here, there's no worry, everyone...The products are ultra fresh because they come directly from the producer, who offers us a unique diversity.
