But behind the Promenade des Anglais that runs along a turquoise Mediterranean, there's the Cours Saleya where colors pop as much as the aromas of socca fill the air, not to mention the hill of the castle that offers the most stunning views of the city of Angels, lies a unique history and heritage that is truly special.
From July 11 to September 5, 2026, NICETOILE invites you to discover Nice like you've never seen it before, thanks to a sensational immersive exhibition titled, of course, NISSA LA BELLA.

A historical journey through the ages
Head to the avenue Jean Médecin for a little time travel. With photographs, archives, illustrations, artworks, and historical documents gathered just for this occasion, Nice reveals itself in a whole new way. From the Promenade des Anglais to the avenue Jean Médecin, passing by the Albert I Garden, the Castle Hill, or the Belle Époque palaces, you can explore the evolution of the city of Angels over the centuries, becoming “the winter resort of the Riviera” listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Between augmented reality and entertainment
And when we say immersive exhibition, we mean a reality experience!
augmented — available until August 9th ! Thanks to this technology, the Jetée-Promenade casino, built in 1882 and destroyed in 1944, comes back to life right before your eyes. It's a unique opportunity to experience a little moment of history in one of the most beautiful buildings of the Belle Époque.
The best part of all this? The exhibition is accessible to everyone, for free. And for those who want to dive deeper into the experience, guided tours are regularly organized. There will also be workshops: get ready to create Belle Époque postcards on July 19 and August 16, or try your hand at traditional calligraphy on August 2.
