Let’s grab a bite at Lala Café!

There are some places in Marseille where you just want to spend all your days. One of those is Lala Café, a cozy coffee shop tucked away behind Cours Julien. Run by Elvira and Jaouad, who embrace the sweet life and Mediterranean culture right in the heart of Marseille. People come here to grab a bite, sip on coffee, laugh, share, indulge in the homemade pastries (which are absolutely to die for, of course), and even shop for unique pieces and Moroccan creations. It’s a beloved community spot that you simply must check out without delay!

Discover Juliet Air's work in the new gallery on Degaby Island

On Degaby Island, in this old military fort, a gallery has just blossomed. It's a brand new space entirely dedicated to contemporary creation and all the artists who engage with the Mediterranean. For its opening, the venue is hosting L’Autre Rive, the very first solo exhibition of Marseille-based photographer and art director Juliet Airs. Conceived over nearly 13 years, her series of images with a floating universe captures the islands, their silence, and their light, through a work made of film, superpositions, play of transparencies, and textile prints.

Let’s indulge in solidarity at the Refugee Food Festival

The Refugee Food Festival is back from June 20 to 27 for its 10th edition in Marseille, still with the same goal: to bring together refugee chefs and local cooks at several locations in the Phocean city. With Palestinian chefs, an Afghan-Provençal banquet, Nigerian lunches, a Philippine menu, and Colombian creations... it’s a wonderful opportunity for encounters, sharing, and dialogues between different culinary traditions and cultures.

We're hunting for vintage pearls at Psartek Friperie

It's no secret: the thrift shops in Marseille are on fire! The good news? Tons of new spots are popping up around the city, bringing us even more vintage gems. Among our latest finds: Psartek Friperie, right in the heart of Rue Jean Roque in the 1st arrondissement. You can’t miss its bright yellow storefront, and once you step inside, you’re greeted with five-star service and a dreamy selection that reveals true treasures with just a bit of digging around!

We're celebrating music all over Marseille !

This weekend, Marseille is buzzing with the Fête de la Musique ! Outdoor concerts, spontaneous DJ sets, choirs, brass bands, and pop-up stages : on June 21, the Phocaean city transforms into a massive open-air dance floor. From the Old Port to La Plaine, winding through the little neighborhood streets, you can't miss the vibrant atmosphere. In short, it's the perfect time to stroll, discover new artists, and celebrate the arrival of summer into the night.
