The Editor

Behind Sawa, you'll find Théo and Victor Munier, two brothers of Burundian descent, along with their mother Chantal, a true maestro in the kitchen. They've decided to embark on a project that celebrates their roots and their love for sharing. Settled in Toulouse for six years, they envisioned a warm, festive, and above all, authentic place!

Experience the Afro Vibe

At Sawa, everything is designed to transport visitors: warm decor, lively music, and most importantly, flavors that take you on a journey. The drink menu stands out with mango or passion fruit mojitos, refreshing beers, and a selection of affordable shooters. To complement it all, enjoy African tapas: melting plantains, crispy sweet potato fries, tasty samosas, and small skewers of perfectly grilled beef or chicken.

In the kitchen, Chantal works wonders. Renowned for her culinary talents, she offers typical African dishes each week, like Yassa or Maffé, as well as recipes straight from Burundi, her homeland. The menu, short and regularly updated, emphasizes freshness and homemade flavors!

Vibrant and Eclectic Evenings

On Fridays, the stage comes alive with live music concerts showcasing Afro and dancehall sounds. On Saturdays, DJ sets electrify the atmosphere. For those looking to unwind with a good dose of laughter, the restaurant offers stand-up performances on Wednesdays!
