Behind this project is Maxime, a 35-year-old restaurateur who has clearly cracked the code to win over the people of Toulouse. La Sauterelle is on its way to becoming a must-visit spot, and here’s why: delicious, generous tapas at sweet prices. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Well, we can already hear you meat lovers chiming in: “Tapas without meat aren’t real tapas.” But think again! By definition, tapas are a variety of small appetizers. So put aside your prejudices, lace up your sneakers, and come discover this veggie gem that’s sure to change your mind!

Just €13.50 for the lunchtime special!

So, we've been talking about tapas for a while now, but what do they actually offer? Here’s something to make your mouth water: seasonal vegetable tempuras, roasted pumpkin and mushrooms, breaded festive rolls, and sweet potato patties roasted with rosemary. You'll forget all about your usual cod fritters!

To complement your tapas, they offer a soup of the evening and also gnocchi with soy protein and homemade tomato sauce! When it comes to desserts, they might have a little weakness, as there are only two options: vanilla rice pudding and a hazelnut orange carrot cake. But hey, given the quality of their tapas, we can forgive them!
