Japanese Garden

It is the most exotic garden in Toulouse, as it is even classified as a Remarkable Garden of France! Located north of the city center in the Compans-Caffarelli Garden, this park with its exotic colors will make you travel without breaking the bank. Clean and well maintained, many people walk around but this park remains very calm and pleasant. You can relax here with a good book. If your boss was exhausting today, come sit on one of the benches in the garden to admire the tranquility of this park. It is a small paradise that has brightened the student years of some! Perfect after an exam to unwind. However, don't make a mistake on the lawn here, we preserve the heritage!

The Meadow of Filters

It is one of the most visited gardens in Toulouse. It's not surprising, with its lovely view of the right bank of the Garonne, it's the ideal place for a family walk. For the most Marseillais among us, games of pétanque are organized during sunny days. It is also the meeting place for the people of Toulouse thanks to the Rio Loco Festival that takes place there. In the months of July and August, the park turns into a huge beach to welcome Toulouse Beaches. If you want to shine in Toulouse, this is the place to be!

Quai de la Daurade

Surely the most instagrammed spot in the city! The quays offer a beautiful view overlooking our beloved Garonne. Bustling with people as soon as the sun comes out, everyone sits on the grass or on the steps leading to the Garonne for a sunbathing session or a picnic. The first kisses and first dates mostly happen here... a moment often illustrated by our tender art students at the Fine Arts School.

Many paths, playgrounds for children, small fountains, and lots of greenery await you! Very pleasant to cool off in the middle of summer when the heat is scorching, this park prevents you from turning into a roasted chicken. There is also a café at the entrance to end your walk nicely, the prices are a bit high but the place is spacious and pleasant. Finally, you will meet many athletes here, joggers, walkers, or yoga enthusiasts! The harmonious and relaxing setting is perfect for it!

Jardin du Grand Rond

Today, the Grand Rond still attracts petanque enthusiasts and city dwellers looking for some greenery. This small garden in the middle of a roundabout is surprisingly well-designed and landscaped, a true hidden gem! A peaceful oasis in early spring, with wrought iron bridges connecting it to the Jardin des Plantes. There are chairs and benches for you to relax after a long day.

If you visit the Georges Labit Museum, you can also explore the exotic garden surrounding the building that houses the city's Asian and Egyptian collections. Opened in October 2001, the garden features nearly a dozen varieties of bamboo and palm trees! Often unknown to the people of Toulouse, we love spending a few afternoons there.
