"Bringing a noble product to an affordable price" as Matthieu Jarnier says so well, originally from Brittany but now a Toulouse resident for 15 years, who welcomed us into his restaurant some time ago.
The menu is small, can change according to the chef's desires, and includes a variety of dishes such as seaweed tartare, scallop carpaccio, crustacean rillettes, and oysters for only 1 euro each, but there are certain dishes that never change, namely the half-lobster, whole lobster, beef steak, and the standout dish, the beef/lobster burger (a burger made with minced beef mixed with chunks of lobster and mozzarella, among other things...). A lobster roll is also now available and waiting to be discovered as well.

At lunchtime, a 20 euro set menu is offered with half lobster or beef/lobster burger with unlimited fries and choice of dessert. Among the homemade desserts, you can choose between tiramisu, chocolate mousse, crème brûlée... We were lucky enough to taste the speculoos tiramisu topped with salted caramel... Just imagine.
In the evening, the set menu is also 20 euros but without dessert.
Each dish is accompanied by a choice of sauces, including coral, tarragon, mayonnaise, and another one that also changes regularly.
A significant plus is the relaxed atmosphere here, not at all stuffy, in the spirit of a restaurant that aims to be welcoming and open to everyone, once again.
Since the recent events related to the lockdown, Le Homard Frites now offers a takeout "catering menu" with a whole lobster, homemade mayonnaise, new potatoes, and speculoos tiramisu with salted caramel sauce. . This formula is to be redeemed at the restaurant after reservation.
