Sharing platters have been all the rage for quite some time now, so when an original concept arrives in the pink city, we can't wait to try it.

Opened in the Carmes neighborhood since November 2019, Jano has quickly built a reputation and found its clientele. Several reasons for this rapid success, as simple as they are logical. To start, we create our own platter by ticking boxes on a sheet and this playful aspect is quite interesting.

No more platter where there's always a product you like less and hesitate to finish. Here everything is tailor-made and a very reasonable price range is offered (prices vary depending on the products, of course).

What also makes the difference here is that the products are original AND of quality. The cheeses come from Xavier or Betty, the charcuterie from Maison Garcia, the vegetables from the Carmes market... Yes, we are in the presence of the best that Toulouse has to offer, simply.

We have around forty references (the menu regularly evolves) with cheeses and charcuterie but also vegetables and spreads. We totally fell for the truffle cheddar (how could it be otherwise) for example.

If you're feeling uninspired, you can always go for the "indecisive board" crafted by the masters of the place, or treat yourself to the "Gourmets of the Moment" section of the menu. This section includes, for example, a roasted camembert, a Mont d'Or, or a creamy Burrata.

At Jano, they also make sure you stay hydrated with a fairly complete wine list, all served with the advice of your host to perfectly complement all the products you have selected.
