Toulouse never does things by halves, especially when it comes to getting its residents dancing. On June 21st, for the Fête de la Musique, the city will unleash a vibrant program that will turn every neighborhood into an open stage. Here are all the events you simply can’t miss.

The + sunny: The Sunnies at Carmes

Les Sunnies & Friends - Live Music - Toulouse

If you want to kick off your evening smoothly, head to Carmes. In front of the grocery store Le Potiron d’Or, the band Les Sunnies will spread their contagious groove in a neighborhood vibe we love: friendly, joyful, and down-to-earth. With a mix of dreamy pop, smooth RnB, swaying folk, and brass-fueled funk, this musical cocktail is going to make the sidewalks swing. The best part? It’s free and outdoors!

The + techno: Sunsept France on rue des Trois-Journées

The collective Sunsept is setting up shop right in the street for a non-stop 7-hour party! With a carefully crafted set design and a sharp electro lineup, this ephemeral scene will bring together the magic of the Cosmo, the Cardinal, and the Frigo Club to transform Rue des Trois-Journées into an open-air club. DJ Viga, Gaba Music, Heykleyz, and Veyken will take turns at the turntables, making the bass thump late into the night.

The + original: Rock and indie at Halles de la Cartoucherie

Feeling like a delightful evening balancing sweetness and craziness? Head over to the Halles de la Cartoucherie, where local artists take the stage! Mélys will kick things off with her floral and introspective folk, just right for watching the sunset. Then, get ready for a change of vibe with Danger Zoo, a wild and explosive band that blends yéyé, punk, surreal rock, and raw energy. All of this, for free, under the stars.

If there's a party overflowing with love, color, and glitter, it's this one: the Gayguette is making its grand return to La Cafétéria with feel-good DJ sets by Louis Gry and Mikaa Rambar, an electrifying drag show featuring the fabulous Vicky Trix, King Fluke, and Gigi Versachier, and an open-air dancefloor that promises not to let you down. All of this comes with delicious dishes and cocktails available on-site.

The most immersive experience: The Trinity Show at Place de la Trinité

This is THE electro scene you can't miss. The Trinity Show takes over the Place de la Trinité for an evening where beats and lights come together in a spectacular way. With house, afro-tech, and UK garage DJ sets, plus stunning projections on historic facades, the atmosphere is both mesmerizing and festive. It's the kind of party you experience as much with your eyes as with your ears.

The festive highlight: Pain Bénit at L’Écluse + after-party in a warehouse

With your feet almost in the Garonne and your heart in the BPM, the Pain Bénit collective invites you to L’Écluse for a lively open air event: six DJs will mix between tech-house and ghetto-tech in a chill yet electrifying atmosphere. Want to keep the party going? Join us for the after party at La Flambère!

Plus street culture: Place de l’Estrapade

An afternoon that has it all! At Place de l'Estrapade, the music kicks off at 3 PM with Selectatopee for a dreamy warm-up, followed by Pierre Bardoux bringing some dancing blues, and wrapping up with Lerayzee for an energizing finale. On top of that, you'll find food stands, local beer, neighborhood vendors, and a tattoo booth (with flash and temporary designs) starting at 7 PM. It's a delightful mix of street culture that's perfect for indulging!

The most chill: The Electronic Fair of Bellegarde

It’s definitely the most feel-good event on the program! Starting at 2 PM, the Bellegarde Cultural Center is hosting a treasure hunt, family yoga, and plant-based cooking workshops. At 5 PM, the music takes over, with Brazilian artist Elisa do Brasil headlining, followed by Karnage and Kosen labels for a night filled with techno and drum’n’bass in an amazing visual atmosphere. It’s an inclusive, festive, and quirky celebration to enjoy with family or friends!
