A food truck landed in mid-July on the Ramblas of Toulouse: Mammouth Burger! The bold project of a young Toulousain, who decided to delight our taste buds with XXL recipes and local products. We had the chance to try one, and we’ll tell you all about it!

At just 21 years old, Romain Berger already has everything it takes to be great. This food enthusiast traded his business studies to dive into the food truck adventure. But hold on, this isn't about serving up burgers in a rush! With Mammouth Burger, he wanted to make a lasting impression, both with the name and the concept (after all, who wouldn't be impressed by a mammoth?!). The little extra? Romain decided to park his white truck on the Ramblas, the bustling lane between Jean Jaurès and the media library, to breathe life into this area that’s still a bit too deserted by the locals of Toulouse.

Local products for crazy recipes

At Mammouth Burger, the menu is simple but effective. Everything here is made with fresh, mostly French products. Charolaise beef, AOP comté cheese, Entremont raclette… we’re a world away from your basic fast food! Don’t worry, the bread is also top-notch, organic and straight from an artisanal bakery. In short, everything you need to eat well while treating yourself!

Among Romain's delicious burgers, we recommend the Gourmet, featuring a butcher's steak, caramelized onions, fig jam, and BBQ sauce (absolutely de-li-cious!) And for cheese lovers (like us hehe), you simply must try the Montagnard. And the good news to wrap up this article : every month, Romain introduces a new creation to surprise you again and again… What more could you ask for?
