Chef Michel Sarran loves croque-monsieur so much that he decided to create Croq'Michel in 2020, a fast food chain dedicated to his guilty pleasure. Two stores were even opened in the heart of Toulouse, in Carmes and Saint-Cyprien (in addition to Paris). But 3 years after the start of this delicious adventure, Croq' Michel has just announced the end of its journey with the closure of all its French restaurants. An announcement made last August 18 on social networks. "Croq'Michel, rue des Filatiers (in Toulouse), is closing its doors for good. This adventure has been incredible, and we want to thank you for your smiles, your shared moments, and your loyalty throughout this delicious journey."

If the reasons for this closure have not been mentioned, many connoisseurs find it logical as the prices of the croque-monsieur seemed prohibitive to them. It must be said that the Croq' formula with a croque-monsieur, a side dish, and a drink at 13.50 euros was a bit hard to swallow, no matter how good the creations were. It's a page turning in the street-food world for the Toulouse chef, but we have faith in him to bounce back and continue to surprise our taste buds, again and again...
