The EasyJet base in Toulouse will be closing its doors in March 2025

The 82 hostesses and stewards, 40 pilots, and 3 managers involved have two options ahead of them. First possibility: accept a transfer to one of easyJet's six French bases (Orly, Roissy, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux, or Nice). To make it appealing, the company is rolling out the red carpet: €25,000 mobility bonus, company accommodation until mid-2026, and even airline tickets covered so they can regularly visit their loved ones in Toulouse. Pretty nice, right? Second option: say goodbye to easyJet with a severance package that could reach €100,000, depending on seniority and the position held. A reason, perhaps, to view this separation from a different perspective... Employees have until January 12, 2025 to decide their future, and final approval of this project by regional authorities is expected in early January.

The base may disappear, but the planes will remain on the Toulouse tarmac.
