According to the 2023 recap from Bien d'ici, Toulouse is now a top spot to buy or rent a property. Even though in 2023 the real estate market has slowed down, in terms of transactions, there were 23% more properties for sale compared to the previous year, especially houses.

A perfect location!

Located between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and not far from the Pyrenees, Toulouse enjoys sunny weather and a great location. Its economic momentum also attracts new residents, but the demand to buy properties is decreasing all over France, mainly due to high prices and interest rates.

In terms of prices, in Toulouse, there is a 2% decrease for old properties but rents have slightly increased, such as 500 euros for a studio and 800 for a three-room apartment. The new market, on the other hand, has decreased.By almost 10% in Toulouse, this led to 31% less demand for new housing in Occitanie in 2023.
