The Connexion Live was well known for its open stages and its ability to attract a diverse audience thanks to its eclectic programming. This closure follows the acquisition of Connexion Live by Arthur Adrien and Olivier Bouscatel, who plan to renovate the space and reopen it with a new concept. However, the new owners, already known for their management of the famous brewery Les Illustres, have expressed their desire to refresh the concept.

A Change That Not Everyone Likes

Despite the promise to maintain a live programming, it will now be more occasional and the venue should move away from its traditional open stage format. The original team of Connexion Live has chosen to resign due to disagreements on the new direction of the venue, except for one person. This marks a significant break and the end of an era for Connexion Live.

Future plans for the venue include renovation works and a name change, as well as the introduction of a simplified catering offer focusing on street food, to complement the music experience. These changes raise questions about the future of the music culture in Toulouse and how the new spaces can meet the expectations of a city known for its cultural dynamism.
