Since 2011, the association Lune et L’Autre has been bringing joy to the Ariège station with this unique winter Pride event. Here, there’s no asphalt underfoot, just powdery snow as far as the eye can see! The idea is simple: celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community away from big urban centers and show that the mountains can also be a place of festivity, freedom, and inclusion. Each year, the Snow Gay attracts participants from all over France, eager to enjoy a stunning setting to connect, share, and most importantly, have fun!

For five days, the Ax 3 Domains resort welcomes you for days filled with fun, set to the rhythm of skiing and snowboarding. If you prefer a gentler approach to the mountains, you can choose a snowshoe walk through the surrounding forests and valleys, or treat yourself to some relaxation at the Ax-les-Thermes thermal baths.
A totally frosty pride!
But what awaits us at Snow Gay? Glittering drag queen shows, a party at the casino, and a dance floor to let loose. The highlight of the event is, of course, the famous pride march through the resort, followed by the descent of the rainbow flag on the slopes, a moment that is both symbolic and festive, reminding us that pride isn’t just for the summer!
