No more honking and exhaust pipes: it's all about peaceful strolls and spontaneous breaks on the terrace. The bridge continues to connect Saint-Cyprien to the Saint-Pierre square, but this time, without cars or motorcycles, perfect for the 5,000 pedestrians and 3,000 cyclists who use it every day.
Tables and shade on the agenda
Little by little, the bridge will be equipped to become a true living space. Benches, tables, chairs, and even shade structures for relaxing out of the heat during those hot days, along with plants to bring some greenery. An open-air exhibition, created with the Municipal Archives, will also be part of it, telling the memorable flood of 1875, exactly 150 years later. Photos, testimonials, historical documents… A little slice of memory in the middle of the river, blending strolls and culture.

And since Toulouse never does things halfway, a stunning 2,000 m² mural by Valentine Gardeau will dress the pavements. A monumental piece representing the Garonne, visible right from the bridge. We can't wait to see it!
