But the economic situation hasn’t worked in their favor. The group is implementing a job protection plan that will lead to the elimination of 302 positions, which is 5% of the total workforce. Officially, the goal is to "refocus on the performance of its discount model and its customers," but it's hard to ignore that this decision seems to be a response to profitability weakened by inflation and increased competition in the sector.
