It's going to be very, very hot in Toulouse!

In the next century, the Toulouse metropolis, like unfortunately the entire planet, will see its temperature increase significantly. The UN announces and alerts to a minimum of 3 degrees gained per French city, or even 4 degrees. Toulouse would then have an average of 37°C in the summer, but that's not all... Heatwaves are estimated in Toulouse with an average of over 51°C according to JDD.

According to Anne-Laure Gibelin, a researcher at Météo-France: "Our models show that as early as 2025, heat records begin to rise by 2 or 3 degrees in certain regions. This warming progresses little by little. In the second half of the century, the records increase everywhere in France and dramatically in the East.".
