In Toulouse, summer takes on a cosmic vibe as soon as the sun sets. From July 15 to August 22, 2025, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the Cité de l’Espace transforms into an intergalactic playground for dreamers and night owls. A magical pause, with your feet in the grass and your head in the stars, where astronomy becomes as cool as it is captivating.

Here, there's no need for a rocket to take off: just step through the doors of this iconic spot in the Pink City, open until 11 PM. By 7 PM, the atmosphere starts to warm up, with tempting food trucks, illuminated gardens, and a sky tinged with ochre. You’ll see kids playing astronauts, teens mesmerized by a space simulator, and adults rediscovering their inner child, whether they like it or not. Everything is there to spark the imagination: real space vehicles, immersive exhibitions, fun activities, and a nighttime show on the Ariane rocket that would make any fireworks display jealous.
An evening event that is just perfect!
And since the sky never does things halfway, these evenings coincide perfectly with the Perseids, the famous meteor showers. You can bet that magic is in the air – and it’s free for those who look up at the right moment. It’s poetic, educational, sensory, and most importantly, it’s a refreshing change from drinks on the terrace. An experience to be had at least once, whether you’re a space enthusiast or just a curious soul in search of a timeless starry night.
