This 13th-century Toulouse castle offers outdoor movie screenings this summer!

Admit it, we’ve all dreamed of it: an outdoor movie night, enjoying the cool breeze under the stars, without a big head blocking our view, while listening to the sound of crickets and smelling freshly cut grass. If you want to try this southern version of the experience, head to the Domaine de Candie in Toulouse!

It's the Toulouse Cancer Health Foundation behind this amazing project: The Starry Nights of Candie, a first edition that’s sure to create a buzz and spread joy. Get ready for four outdoor movie nights on June 30, July 7, 21, and 28, 2025. And if you're wondering: yes, the screenings are planned just after sunset, in the most idyllic setting you can imagine.

A Cinema with Heart

But beyond the dreamlike setting, the event has a truly essential goal: to raise awareness about cancer, still the leading cause of death in France today. All proceeds will be donated to the Toulouse Cancer Health Foundation, as well as to the Domaine de Candie. And to top it all off, a local picnic will be offered on-site, complete with bands and good vibes to liven up the evening.
