On the morning of November 13th, while the streets are still calm, the first chalets of the Christmas market are already rising on the Place du Capitole. Some are still spread out on the ground, while others proudly point their white roofs towards the sky. The market bistro, a favorite spot for the people of Toulouse to warm up between shopping trips, also finds its essential place once again.

The countdown has begun: from November 27 to December 28, over a hundred charming stalls will welcome artisans, creators, producers, and delicious food stands. In 2024, nearly 810,000 people visited the Capitole market, so you can bet that the 2025 edition is set to be XXL.
Magical attractions and fairy-tale decorations
The Capitole market is the heart of the celebration. You'll find the grand Christmas tree, a starlit sky hanging above the paths, nutcracker soldiers, the cozy throne (yes, Santa knows the importance of comfort), and an ice rink to awaken everyone's inner child. But the fun doesn’t stop there: street performances, concerts, tasty treats, hot chocolate, and roasted chestnuts will also be on offer. The stroll becomes an annual ritual that no one wants to miss!

Just a stone's throw from the Capitol, Charles de Gaulle Square reveals its own magical atmosphere. Ten chalets house creators and producers, but it’s the activities that draw in families: creative workshops, a Christmas-themed duck pond game, meet-and-greets with Santa, illuminated window displays, giant teddy bears, a sparkling sleigh… It’s a delightful experience!
