The Editor

The story of Chut Guinguette begins in 2022. Catherine Sabathier and Antoine Gonzalez look at their garden in the Roseraie neighborhood and ask themselves a simple question: what if we opened a restaurant? In the first season, they can welcome about fifteen people. Word of mouth does the rest. Five years later, the capacity has tripled, a transparent roof inspired by Bali keeps guests dry from the rain, cozy blankets are available for chilly days, and the first Saturday of the 2026 season is already fully booked.

This success says something important about what people sometimes seek in a restaurant: not necessarily a fancy dining room or a ten-page menu. A private garden turned into a guinguette, right in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Toulouse, that’s exactly it.

€39 for the unique menu

The concept is simple and hasn't changed since the first service: a unique menu for €39, which evolves almost daily based on arrivals and seasons. Old-fashioned tomato carpaccio, creamy truffle burrata, grilled black pork chop... The quality is there, and so is the generosity! A big new feature for this 2026 season: Chut Guinguette is opening for Saturday lunch for the very first time. This decision was made after many regulars have...expressed their frustration about never being able to free up during the week. The response on the first Saturday was undeniable: full! Reservations by phone at 06 25 23 61 65, and it’s better to plan ahead.
