Usually, you have to earn the breathtaking northern lights: long nights, biting cold, and a tricky latitude. But in Toulouse, all you need to do is look up! The “Boréales” project, dreamed up by the local association L’Agence de la Création, promises to transform one of the city's most iconic spots into an ephemeral Arctic landscape. Thanks to cutting-edge lighting technology, the famous green, blue, and violet curtains will come to life above the Daurade port. It’s a poetic twist on urban space, where science inspires art, and the pink city dresses up in colors from the polar circle.
An immersive work between art, light, and sound
The show won't just be a simple light display. A captivating sound atmosphere will accompany the light ballet, enhancing the illusion of a living, almost breathing sky. The goal: to plunge the audience into a complete sensory experience, to...halfway between contemporary installation and waking dream. From 6 PM to 10 PM, La Daurade will transform into a place of contemplation, perfect for winter strolls, delightful photos, and suspended moments.
