For its 18th edition, the Made in Asia Festival has decided to honor Indonesia, this stunning archipelago of 17,000 islands, where you will discover music, dance, cinema, crafts, and gastronomy during this festival.
If you love cinema, gems like "Yôkai - The World of Spirits" and "Totto-Chan" will be screened. For those keen to dive deeper into cultures, there will be exhibitions and conferences to explore the world of Indonesian poet Sitor Situmorang. The festival also offers plenty of interactive activities to discover Asia in a different way, and for food enthusiasts, cooking workshops will introduce you to the flavors of Indonesia, including the discovery of Jamu, an ancestral energizing drink.
Total immersion in Asian culture
On the music side, we're expecting Gaga Gundul, a group that blends Javanese gamelan and jazz-rock, or Yidjam, a duo that mixes Chinese guzheng and Mongolian throat singing. Just some real gems! And that's not all! During this festival, you'll also discover other Asian cultures. Vietnam, Japan, China, Mongolia… each country will have its shining moment with concerts and screenings.
