At the heart of this first edition are two publishing houses from Toulouse: Du noir sous les ongles and Doryphores Éditions, who wanted to shine a big spotlight on the local independent comic book scene. And you wouldn’t believe it, but it’s thriving! In partnership with La Passerelle Negreneys, they’re launching Case Pastel, a cozy festival that will celebrate alternative comic books.

An End-of-Day DJ Set
From 2 PM to 7:30 PM, about fifteen exhibitors will set up in the neighborhood. You’ll bump into collectives like Le Chameau Sauvage, browse through the lovely finds from Misma Éditions, discover the works of Frédéric Medrano or even meet the artists from Salade Suprême and Barbastella. You’ll have the chance to chat directly with the creators, understand their worlds, and learn about their creative processes. Whether you’re a comics enthusiast or just a curious soul, you’ll likely leave with a few zines under your arm and stars in your eyes!
