The Domaine d'En Ségur, a famous wine-growing area of 38 hectares just 30 minutes from Toulouse

Nestled in the heart of Tarn, just a cork throw away from Toulouse, the Domaine d’En Ségur is one of the proud jewels of our beautiful region. This estate pays vibrant tribute to the homeland of Pierre Fabre – the founder of the Avène and Furterer brands – who, in 1989, decided to breathe new life into these cherished plots with a delightful idea: to combine quality, environmental respect, and a love for great wine. The result? A 38-hectare estate cultivated organically, planted with prestigious grape varieties like Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon, along with Duras, a local grape that’s a bit of a rebel, just the way we like it.

The Love for the Art of Manual Grape Growing 

Here, we take grape growing seriously: careful leaf removal by hand, green harvesting, and meticulous sorting... Each bunch is pampered like a red-carpet star. Far from the impersonal machines, Domaine d’En Ségur works the old-fashioned way, with both ethical and aesthetic approaches. And you can taste it in the glass. The soils, a mix of rolling pebbles and clay-sandy textures, offer an astonishing variety of flavors: from structured reds to mineral whites, along with aromatic rosés and lively natural bubbles.

Wines Deeply Rooted in Terroir

The Germain cuvée, made from Merlot and Syrah, makes a bold statement with its toasty notes and velvety tannins, perfect for pairing with a delicious ribeye steak. Those with a refined palate will love the Madeleine cuvée, a Chardonnay aged on lees, beautifully round and elegant. A special mention goes to the Sauvignon d’Or, light as a summer breeze and as refreshing as a dip in the Agout. Even the bubbles join the celebration with a brut nature sparkling wine that pops delightfully on the palate.

And the house has just opened a brand new shop with a reception area that can host groups for lunch or meetings under a stunning glass roof.
