For four days, tickets at all participating cinemas are a flat rate of €5. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy one or more movie sessions, whether alone, with family, or friends. Among the must-see feature films during this time, you'll find Toy Story 5, Supergirl, Shana — selected for the Cannes Critics' Week —, The Vertigo — the new film by Quentin Dupieux, also selected for the Cannes Critics' Week —, and the documentary André is an Idiot — featuring the voice of Kyan Khojandi.

Over 40 Years of History
The Cinema Festival is a long-standing tradition. Established on June 14, 1985 by the Ministry of Culture, the National Federation of French Cinemas, and other industry professionals, this festival initially allowed participants to purchase a passport booklet “at the price of a movie ticket which could then be reused all day, allowing them to enjoy the special rate of 1 franc per screening” (equivalent to 15 cents today), explains the National Center of Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC). The first edition saw such success that the event has continued over the years, evolving in its format, making cinema a central element of French cultural life.
