The Editor

It's a special evening coming up on July 18, 19, and 20 at the Saint-Guillaume church in Strasbourg. The Passions Croisées association is back with their "lyrical barbecue" concept that was a hit last summer. On the menu: plenty of meat, opera tunes, and a peaceful atmosphere in a usually closed-off setting. Get ready to impress your friends with this feast for the eyes (and stomach)! Between Mozart and grilled sausages Starting at 7pm, the festivities will begin with a proper aperitif (thanks to Maison Minuty!). But remember, it's not about sipping rosé while listening to Maître Gims! At 8pm, Italian soprano Francesca Sorteni will take the stage for an opera concert. The program includes nothing but Mozart! Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro will be in the spotlight.

Once the concert is over, head to the gardens for the moment we've all been waiting for: the barbecue! La Maison Klein / Porcus will be in charge to delight you. And don't worry, you can help yourself as many times as you want (although we recommend saving some room for dessert). All in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, far from any stuffy opera stereotypes.

VIP Access to the Church

But that's not all! In between bites of sausage, you can enjoy a guided tour of the church and its organ. Please note that spaces are limited to 80 people per evening, to maintain an intimate atmosphere and prevent the church from turning into a massive barbecue party. The price is 45€ per person, which includes aperitif, concert, unlimited barbecue, and drinks.
