It's what was missing from the panorama of restaurants offering world cuisine in Strasbourg. With Tzatzi, we're not limited to one location: the influence of the dishes offered comes from the Mediterranean and includes Greek and Lebanese flavors as well as Turkish and Israeli ones.

With its large windows, peaceful terrace, and finely detailed decor, the establishment has everything to satisfy our wanderlust without needing to go far. The prices are quite reasonable, and vegetarians and vegans will easily find something on the menu. Let's take a look around.

On the menu

Tzatzi's specialty, as explained by Gilles, one of the managers along with the Diabolo Poivre group (East Canteen, La Hache...) behind the project, is houmous: it is offered in a preserved lemon version or in its classic sesame version, and can be customized with a topping of meat or veggie, which changes regularly.

The menu also features a variety of hot and cold mezzes, each more appetizing than the last: a crispy tabbouleh with puffed rice and pomegranate, some tzatziki (of course), a Greek salad or fatouche, crispy chicken, the must-have falafels, börek... It's not easy to make a choice!

If you prefer to opt for a single dish, the menu also offers salads that can be paired and complemented with hummus, pide, those famous Turkish pizzas, cooked on site and made to order in a oven that sits in the middle of the establishment, as well as roasted vegetables and specialties such as grilled octopus or moussaka.

For the more indulgent, desserts, also from afar, have plenty to satisfy a sweet craving: almond and honey baklavas, walnut ice cream and candied kamalata olives, pistachio rice pudding, melon and watermelon or even creamy chocolate and cinnamon orange salad.

Even in terms of drinks, nothing is left to chance: Tzatzi offers its own homemade limonana with lemon and mint (so far we have found nothing more refreshing), as well as reinterpreted classic cocktails with always delightful flavors.

Enjoy refreshing Mediterranean-inspired drinks, with or without alcohol. There are even artisanal beverages imported directly from Greece and Turkey, that you won't find anywhere else in the area, as well as typical spirits from that part of the world.

Situated between Kléber Square and Grand Rue, Tzatzi enjoys a quiet corner yet located right in the heart of Strasbourg. High ceilings and very luminous thanks to its large windows, the place has been made even more cozy and exotic with a sophisticated and evocative decor.

The floor is raw and sandy-colored, the walls are white with blue tiling, colors that remind you of Greece, the welcoming wooden tables invite you to make the meal a truly sharing moment. Discover below a preview in images, while eagerly planning your visit there if you haven't already!
