From February 14th to 17th, it's the 27th edition of the Independent Winemakers Exhibition at the Strasbourg Exhibition Center! This national event travels to several French cities and stops in Strasbourg every February.
As soon as you enter, glass in hand, you can meet over 300 winemakers and taste their productions (but be careful with alcohol, take it easy). Free introductory tasting workshops are offered, after which you can continue your tour of the exhibition and determine if a wine is more friendly or nervous. A real tour of the French wineries, for a fee of 6 euros or 3 euros at a reduced rate (for students or groups)! Whether you're an amateur or a wine connoisseur, you can discover and appreciate the knowledge and stories of the winemakers.
Come have a drink at the exhibition
Whether you want to enjoy a glass, enhance your knowledge of French vineyards, or add to your wine collection, the Independent Winemakers Exhibition is a terroir-driven and friendly event not to be missed!
And to go further
If you don't know anything about wine and you want to improve your knowledge about fermented grape juice (so you can show off a little at the fair), you can visit Jess's blog, a Quebecois sommelier, Alsatian at heart and by adoption, who tastes, tests, and talks about her oenological favorites!
