To learn or improve, the Jura Mountains have many sites, including the Haut-Valromey site offering biathlon for beginners at 10 meters for the youngest (air rifle from 11 years old and laser from 8 years old) and for the experienced at 50 meters with a .22 long rifle like the true champions. The Tuffes site in Prémanon is also renowned for hosting many important national and regional competitions.
