Have you heard of Le Coucou des Bois? I'm not talking about the bird, but the delicious restaurant located in the Stock district!

Set in a historic building, this place offers delicious flammekueches in a typically Alsatian setting. Let's give you a quick overview of the flammekueches: Traditional, with melted mushrooms, munster cheese, and also some creations from the Chef like the one with snails or the "Flambées des bois" featuring smoked wild boar fillet... We finish this list with Mama Bubbele! Located along the quays, it’s the most inclusive flammekueche bar in the city! Indeed, all their flammekueche are available in gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian versions (starting strong!). Plus, they have the most extensive menu: 16 different flammekueche! And let’s just say that alongside traditional recipes, there are some wild options: sheep cheese, wild garlic cheese, Alsatian dried beef and Comté, truffle ham, smoked salmon with citrus oil and basil, or even snowy Fourme d'Ambert (what a torture to write this article…). They also offer various sweet flammekueche. In short, I think you’re going to love it!
