The Most Original: Erithaj

Erithaj is the pastry-chocolate shop that will take you on a delightful journey! Arnaud Stengel and Antoine Joly, the two geniuses behind this concept, decided to blend their Vietnamese and Alsatian roots to create desserts that are truly one of a kind. So, what can you find there exactly? Individual desserts that will knock your socks off, amazing chocolates, and completely crazy flavor combinations. But be careful, these little wonders are available in limited quantities from Thursday to Saturday. Let’s just say you’ll have to elbow your way in to get some!

You will have a breathtaking view of the Palais Rohan while you indulge (oops, I mean, elegantly savor) your pastries. At Sébastien's, you'll find it all: seasonal tarts for the purists, travel cakes, and even reimagined classics like the Gillmann version of flan pâtissier. And on hot days (yes, it happens even in Alsace), nothing beats a coffee on the terrace. You can people-watch while treating yourself...

The + Lebanese: Almond and Cinnamon

Thought you’d seen it all when it comes to pastries? Wait until you discover Almond and Cinnamon! This little gem hidden in the Halles district is where the East meets the West... The chef, born in Colmar, and his Franco-Lebanese wife have come up with the brilliant idea of mixing their culinary cultures. The result is... A joyful jumble where Paris-Brest mingles with baklavas without a care! Their signature dessert, the Beyrouth: a Lebanese flan made with pistachio financier, raspberries, all beautifully scented with rose water and orange blossom. And for those nostalgic for Alsace, no worries: they also make chocolates shaped like pretzels.

This charming pastry-tea room is a bit like the Strasbourg version of the "Friends" café. Axelle, the chef behind the scenes, brought all her Parisian know-how to delight our Alsatian taste buds. Here, there's no fuss: it's cozy, it's delicious, and it’s exactly what we need. Are the pastries winking at you? Go ahead and give in! You won't be able to resist for long, and by the way, that summer body? It's already cooked.
