Get ready to sink your teeth into some delicious fried chicken because Popeyes, the beloved chain from the USA, is finally making its way to Mulhouse!

Exciting news for all the fried chicken lovers out there! More options are now available with Popeyes and KFC! The popular American fast-food chain is expanding in France and opening its 12th store in Alsace for the first time ever. On Thursday, June 27th, you can visit Popeyes in the commercial area of Ile Napoléon in Sausheim, near Mulhouse (just over an hour from Strasbourg). The restaurant is 171 m² with 133 seats inside and on the terrace. All that's left to do now is wait patiently to taste the famous "chicken sandwich," the brand's iconic product made with chicken marinated in Cajun spices for 12 hours!

Popeyes is really pulling out all the stops for their grand opening! They want to make sure their future customers have a memorable experience with a fun atmosphere, balloon arches, treats, and a special deal for early birds! The first 50 customers will receive a complimentary Chicken Sandwich on opening day and throughout the following weekend (valid on Thursday, June 27, Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, for the first 50 customers, limited to one free item per order with a minimum purchase of €10, only at the Popeyes Mulhouse restaurant).

Is Popeyes soon to be the king of fried chicken ?

While Popeyes is currently just behind KFC, the legendary chain that delights American taste buds is determined to surpass them! To do so, the brand plans a massive expansion in French territory and aims to open 300 restaurants by 2030, that's quite a goal. This strategy relies heavily on a strong presence of dark kitchens, establishments solely dedicated to delivery. But the Lyon location is expected to offer the opportunity to enjoy chicken-based creations on site. So, who's getting hungry ?
