In an exclusive study, the international fintech SumUp has created a ranking of the greatest cities in France for building a family life. The study considers various factors such as the number of schools and daycare centers, sports facilities, and playgrounds in the 25 largest cities in the country.
Paris is officially the best city in France to raise children with a score of 5.689 points. Despite having the lowest percentage of green spaces (14%), the French capital compensates with its facilities for education and entertainment. Indeed, Paris boasts the highest number of daycare centers, sports facilities, and entertainment venues.
Strasbourg, a city on the rise
In second place, we find Lyon with a score of 4.126 points, managing to compete with the capital thanks to the largest number of schools (187) and playgrounds (70). Strasbourg ranks 7th in the list.
