Called the “Bike Ring,” this route will feature 3.9 km of bike paths connecting the north and south of the Great Island. To the north, the path will run alongside the docks, while to the south, it will connect the Covered Bridges to the Saint-Guillaume Bridge, passing by the civil hospital. This journey will make life easier for the people of Strasbourg, allowing them to travel faster and safely, away from cars.

500 bike racks, which means 1,000 parking spots!
The first small works began in November 2024, but starting tomorrow, Thursday, January 16, it's time for the big projects to kick off! Just a reminder, these works will lead to the removal of several parking spots. However, a new spot will also be created at the Ponts-Couverts parking lot. And here's some good news: this project also includes greening the urban spaces with new trees to refresh and beautify the quays. And between us, who would say no to a little more greenery in the city?
