On Monday, February 3rd, the municipal council unveiled its exciting new project: a brand-new neighborhood set to rise in Meinau. What’s it called? “Stellantis,” a project led by Bouygues Immobilier. The idea? To build on a 4-hectare site that includes nearly 400 housing units, a 6,000 m² student residence, a 4,500 m² hotel, 4,500 m² of office space, and a huge supermarket. And to make sure it’s not all concrete, 40% of the area will be dedicated to green spaces.

But that's not all! A new intersection is going to be set up, along with a dedicated access for pedestrians and cyclists. To fund this mega project, SAS Strasbourg 1 will be contributing over 2 million euros to the Eurométropole and the city of Strasbourg.
Well, let's be honest, it’s not happening right away. The construction won't start until the end of 2025, and the first homes are expected to be ready by the end of 2027. So, see you in at least three years to discover all of this!
