This is the news that will thrill all bowling and strike fans: the Orangerie bowling alley is coming back! Closed in 2022, like a Phoenix, it rises from the ashes after a huge 12 million euro renovation (that’s right!). And get ready, because it’s serious business: 32 lanes instead of 24, modern and eco-friendly machines, arcade games, and dart games according to our colleagues from France Bleu. On the food side, a restaurant led by a renowned chef, a brasserie with billiards, and even a tea lounge will be opening up!
We all know that finding a bathroom in a park is often mission impossible. The city of Strasbourg has heard our prayers and is taking action!
Install two free public restrooms. While waiting for their official opening in December 2025, dry toilets will be available from March to October. A little relief (literally) for all the walkers! And goodbye to the sad enclosures, hello to an educational and animal-friendly space! The mini-farm will become a sanctuary for animals from laboratories (mini pigs, chickens, rabbits), and a wildlife center managed by the LPO will also be created. The boats and little cars are making a grand return
It’s the comeback we had almost lost hope for! After months of uncertainty, the boats and mini-cars are back since March 1st. And this time with a little extra: a selection of non-alcoholic drinks to refresh yourself after a ride on the water. And that’s not all!! A brand new playground is arriving at the Orangerie, near the giant spider, opening in September. And if you’re feeling a bit peckish, renovated kiosks with a quality offer will be available.will see the light of day. The first kiosk is already being transformed, and a second call for projects has been launched for the second one. Stay tuned!
