The construction site, led by Bouygues Immobilier, is progressing step by step. The first phase, already completed, includes 116 private homes and 117 social housing units for Alsace Habitat. A second phase will be underway between 2025 and 2026 with two new residences: one with 90 homes (half for ownership, half for intermediate rental), the other with 137 homes for intermediate rental.
But what makes this project special is its ecological ambition. The old factory has been completely demolished to make way for a one-hectare park that will border the various residences. This large green space will then be handed over to the City of Schiltigheim to create a relaxation area accessible to everyone.
A neighborhood focused on greenery
The final phase of the project, scheduled for 2027, plans to construct a student residence consisting of 247 studios, along with a small social residence resembling a family pension. A b&acir. The office building will complement the entire setup.
