As every year, the iconic Christmas tree from the Christmas market made its arrival this morning around 5:30 AM, six days after being cut down (on October 15, 2024) in the Champ forest in the Vosges. To set it up, two cranes were needed, and the operation took some time: its final placement wasn't completed until around 9 AM.

A 30-Meter Tall Christmas Tree
A highlight of the Strasbourg Christmas market, it will stand proudly under the beautiful lights of Place Kléber. However, before its inauguration scheduled for November 27, it will receive a little makeover: additional branches will be added at its base, and the decorations will follow throughout the month. The tree's lights will then go off on January 5.
