During the Advent season, Kaysersberg transforms into a true Christmas village ! Half-timbered houses are beautifully decorated, and the cobblestone streets light up to welcome visitors from around the world. The romantic atmosphere of this little Alsace town attracts both families and tradition lovers, eager to explore a cozy market that's away from the hustle and bustle of big cities like Strasbourg or Colmar !

Artisanal Highlights

Kaysersberg stands out with its authentic and artisanal Christmas market. About 30 wooden chalets are set up in the old town, particularly in the Arsenal courtyard and behind the church. Every year, the Christmas Association of Kaysersberg carefully selects the exhibitors, focusing on unique and handmade products. You'll find :

- Local and international crafts : Wooden toys, pottery, blown glass items, Russian crafts, and Japanese origami.

- Gastronomic products : Visitors can taste Alsatian specialties like bredles (small Christmas cookies), foie gras, local terrines, nuts, dried fruits, and artisanal syrups.

- Farmers' market : A section dedicated to products from valley farmers featuring cheeses, charcuterie, and more.

other regional delights.

The Kaysersberg Christmas market is all about the four Advent weekends. It’s open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 AM to 8 PM. As the weeks of December go by, extra stalls pop up in various spots around the town. The market also stays open in the days leading up to Christmas, allowing...to visitors to enjoy the last gift shopping!
