It’s the return of the big clearance sale in Strasbourg! This Saturday, July 26, from 7:30 AM to 7 PM, the streets of downtown will transform into an open-air shopping and flea market paradise with the grand comeback of the braderie. Gone is the scaled-down version of 2024, constrained by the Olympic agenda. This year, it’s all about the XXL version with nearly 350 merchants, both permanent and non-permanent, ready to take over the city’s shopping streets: from Grand'rue to Rue des Tanneurs, including the legendary Grandes-Arcades and Haute-Montée. In short, there’s going to be a crowd, plenty of discounts, and lots of fun in the Alsatian alleyways.

A plethora of great deals and two giant flea markets

And just when you thought news couldn’t get any better, two flea markets are joining the celebration: one at Place Broglie and the other at Place Saint-Thomas. It’s a golden opportunity for individuals to clear out their attics… or add a touch of vintage flair. As for logistics, the city...

anticipates: Place Broglie and its parking will remain accessible via Rue de la Nuée Bleue, just to avoid any hassle for deliveries (or wedding processions happening that day). For everyone else, the best tip is to use the free park-and-ride lots, as long as you show a purchase receipt of at least €20.

On the tram side, we're anticipating a few tweaks: the stations Étoile Bourse, Porte de l’Hôpital, Langstross Grand’Rue, and Homme de Fer will be paused. But no worries, a shuttle will connect the place de l’Étoile to Pont Saint-Nicolas every 12 minutes, ensuring you won't miss out on any deals. So grab your tote bags, put on your sneakers, and get your treasure-hunting vibes ready—Strasbourg's big flea market is set to light up the sidewalks and your wallets!
