On Rue du Vieux-Marché-aux-Poissons, just a stone's throw from the cathedral, a sweet, delightful aroma wafts from a charming half-timbered house dating back to the 18th century. After months of hard work, Nicolas Multon, former pastry chef at Villa René-Lalique, has finally opened his gourmet dessert counter at the end of August. If we had to sum up the place in one word? Refinement.

Behind the grand windows, we discover a space that's both refined and warm, envisioned by AEA Architects, where everything seems designed to enhance the chef's creations. On the ground floor, a counter displays pastries like precious jewels. Upstairs, there’s a cozy little lounge with 18 seats where time slows down and the plates flow.

Pastries as Beautiful as They Are Delicious

Multon works with local producers selected for their respect for nature: farm butters, artisan flours, seasonal fruits and vegetables—everything is included. The result? Plates where sweet and savory sit together happily at the same table. And since indulgence knows no hours here, you can treat yourself from 10 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and until 6 PM on Saturdays, sweet or savory, in any order you like. (Yes, you can start with dessert!)no one will judge you !).

And if you don’t have time to sit down, the takeaway shop (run by Carine Clément, one of the co-founders of the project) keeps the magic alive : cakes simply called “raspberry,” “blackberry,” or “chocolate,” priced between €6.50 and €8, the kind of treat you can indulge in without hesitation!
